1880 Mar 1. Name drawn to become a member of grand jury, Second Judicial District Court, Utah Territory. Subsequently "excused by reason of his not being a citizen of the United States." Was paid $2.10 for his appearance at court, $2.00 of it for appearing, and $.10 for traveling two miles.
